With the 2015-16 season nearing its final weeks many Tier 3 players remain uncommitted for the 2016-17 season. Below is the first in a series of articles highlighting Tier 3 Forwards (1995's).

Jonathan Adnell, Sugar Land Imperials
Sugarland Forward Jonathan Adnell leads the Imperials with 58 points. The 5'10 169lb native of Sweden logged 28 goals and 30 assists, with points in 34 games including 15 multi point efforts. Adnell also participated in the 2016 Top Prospects Tournament. Adnell and the Imperials are still active in regular season play.
Wilson Anderle, Steele County Blades
Wilson Anderle finished the regular season second in points on the Blades roster, logging 22 goals and 34 assists for 56 points. Averaging 1.2 points per game through 46 regular season games, the 5'10 155lb Minnesota native earned a point in 34 games including 17 multi point efforts. Anderle contributed to 30% of the Blades goals this season.
Joe Costello, Twin City Steel - Committed to UW Stout
Tier 3 veteran Forward Joe Costello currently leads the Twin City Steel in points. With 32 goals and 28 assists for 60 points, the 5'11 165lb Michigan native earned a point in 31 games including 17 multi point efforts, a hat trick and a season best 5 points on October 16, 2015. Costello earned 3 points in the 2016 Top Prospects Tournament. Costello and the Steel are still active in the regular season.

Max Gruzdev, Florida Eels
Max Gruzdev finished the regular season on top of the Eels points leaderboard. The 6'2 182lb native of Russia averaged 1.8 points per game through the regular season and is currently averaging 1.9 points per game through 7 playoff games. Currently on a 10 game point streak, Gruzdev earned a point in 37 of 45 games (reg. and playoffs) including 25 multi point efforts and a season best 6 points on November 22, 2015. The Eels are still active in playoff games.
Jared Karas, Jersey Shore Wildcats
Jersey Shore Wildcats Forward Jared Karas began the season on a 36 game point streak, earning a point in 43 of 44 games this season. The 6'0 180lb Pennsylvania native logged 25 multi point efforts as well as multiple 5 point games while averaging nearly 2 points per game. Karas competed as part of the NA3EHL West squad that participated in the NA3HL Showcase.
Sergei Merzlov, Alpena Flyers
Sergei Merzlov finished the regular season as the top points leader for the Alpena Flyers. With 10 goals and 35 assists, the 6'2 180 pounder contributed in part to 28% of the Flyers season goals. With 11 multi point efforts including a season high 5 points on January 16th. A tier 3 veteran, Merzlov competed at the Tier 3 level since the 2013-14 season.
Mick Nisbet, La Crosse Freeze
La Crosse Freeze Forward Mick Nisbet logged 26 points through 39 regular season games. Finishing the season strong, the 5'9 150lb California native earned nearly half his season points in his last 10 games, averaging more than a point per game including four multi point efforts in that span. Nisbet and the Freeze are still active in regular season play.
Nick Paulson, Rochester Ice Hawks
Forward Nick Paulson currently leads the Ice Hawks in points, averaging over a point per game through the first 42 regular season games. The 6'2 190 pounder earned a point in 23 games including 10 multi point efforts, a hat trick and a season high 5 points on October 10, 2015. Paulson contributed to 39% of the Ice Hawks season goals. Paulson also participated in the 2016 Top Prospects Tournament. The Ice Hawks are still active in regular season play.
Aaron Ryback, Alexandria Blizzard
Forward Aaron Ryback, a 3 year Tier 3 veteran , currently ranks second in points on the Blizzard roster. The 6'1 200lb native of Canada earned a point in 27 contests including 12 multi point efforts, a hat trick and a season best 5 points on October 10, 2015. Averaging nearly a point per game over the course of three season, Ryback played a part in 27% of the Blizzard goals this season and participated in the 2016 Top Prospects Tournament. The Blizzard are still active in regular season play.
Adrian Sjoqvist, New Hampshire Jr Monarchs Elite
Adrian Sjoqvist finished the regular season second in points on the Monarchs Elite squad. The 5'9 150lb native of Sweden earned a point in 35 regular season and 2 playoff games, with 17 multi point efforts, a hat trick and closed out the regular season with a 4 point effort on February 21st. Sjoqvist contributed to 27% of the Monarchs regular season goals.
