Chris Nicolai, F,1996, Billings Bulls
In two games this weekend Forward Chris Nicolai logged 6 goals and 4 assists for 10 points, including back to back hat tricks. In ten games on the Billings Bulls roster Nicolai earned 22 points, logging a point in 8 games including 6 multi point efforts. A 1996, the Alaskan native played the first part of the 2015-16 season with the OCN Blizzard of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League before transferring to the Bulls in early December, where he's currently averaging 2.2 points per game.

Tier 3 veteran Goaltender Sam Nelson logged two shutouts this weekend, turning away all 40 shots faced in the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings two game sweep of the Blaine Energy. The shutouts make 3 for the season for Nelson who currently holds a 15-5-0 record in net for the Riverkings. With seven games since his last loss, Nelsons five losses have all come at the hands of the USPHL Midwest Division #1 Chicago Cougars and #2 Dells Ducks, with 43% of his season goals allowed coming from these two teams. A 1995, Nelson came to the Riverkings after a solid 2014-15 campaign with the Rochester Ice Hawks, where he finished the season as arguably one of the top goaltenders in the MnJHL.
