Scott Huber Logs 22nd Goal - Ties Top 5 Tier 3 Record
The current Tier 3 Junior Hockey record for goals scored in a season by a Defenseman is 25, set by Martin Husicka of the Billings Bulls through the 2006-07 season while the team was part of the NPHL. Metro Fighting Moose D-Man Scott Huber logged his 22nd goal on February 13, 2016 in a 6-3 victory over the Junior Titans, placing himself in a tie for the top 5 in the Tier 3 Record books.
The 6'1 200lb skater began the season playing 31 games with the Junior Titans before moving to the Moose earlier this month. In four games on the Moose roster, Huber logged 4 goals and 1 assist for 5 points. With points in 26 of 35 games, including a hat trick and a season high 7 points on January 3rd when he registered 6 assists, Huber leads all Defensemen this season with 55 points, ranking 1st in goals and 4th in assists. The Moose have 5 games left in regular season play. Current Defense Goals Records 1. Martin Husicka Billings Bulls NPHL 25 2006-07 2T. Brad Nolan Philadelphia Revolution MJHL 23 2013-14 2T.
