Former Brahma Named Asst Captain for the Wolfpack
After two very successful seasons with the Texas Jr Brahmas, New Jersey native Ryan Dunner heads back to the East Coast to play his final season of Junior Hockey with the Hartford Jr Wolfpack of the Eastern Hockey League where he was recently named Assistant Captain for the Wolfpack Premier squad.
Dunner is coming off a solid 2015-16 campaign earning 35 goals and 42 assists for 77 points through 45 games and a +/- of +40 for a Texas Jr Brahmas squad that went deep into the NA3HL playoffs. The Brahmas finished the 2015-16 regular season with 231 goals. A goal count high enough to rank 16th among all 165 Tier 3 Junior Hockey teams that competed through the 2015-16 season and Dunner played a part in 33% of them. A 1996, Dunner is entering his third and final season at the Tier 3 level. Through the past two seasons, Dunner earned a brief call up to the NAHL and played in both the 2015 and 2016 Top Prospects Tournaments. Dunner was not only one of the top Forwards in the NA3HL last season, but one of the top point producers across all Tier 3.
