Oilers Looking to Stay Towards the Top of the EHL
NORWALK, CT -- A new season, means another shot at the title for the Connecticut Oilers. Eric Lind has kept his team towards the top of the EHL in each of the first three seasons, and his 38 total NCAA Commitments rank 4th, only behind the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, Walpole Express, and Hartford Jr. Wolfpack. The Oilers have been the model of consistency in the EHL, winning the Central Division title in each of the first two seasons and then finishing 2nd in the South Conference this past season.
The Oilers have carried their strong play into the playoffs, with appearances in the EHL Semi-Finals and the EHL Finals in the last two respective seasons. With success comes expectations, and as the Oilers reload, they will do so with the hopes of making some more noise this season.
After knocking off the Rockets and the Wolfpack in the playoffs, the Oilers saw their postseason run end at the hands of the Monarchs. As holds true all year in the EHL, winning and losing is mostly a bonus in this league, as the ultimate goal revolves around getting the players to the next level. The EHL would like to congratulate this season's 13 NCAA Commitments from the Connecticut Oilers.
