Chicago Cougars Hire Nick Brusa as Assistant Coach for 2016-17
The Chicago Cougars announced Nick Brusa will replace Justin Maciuk as Assistant Coach for the teams second season. Maciuk accepted a full-time position as a Director with the Chicago Blues organization after assisting the Cougars in producing a 39-8-1 inaugural season in 2015-16.
Brusa, who played in both the NAHL and OJHL as well as at St Mary's University, comes to the Cougars with college coaching experience after spending the 2015-16 season as an Assistant Coach at DePaul University.
The Cougars will play as part of the USPHL Elite Midwest Division for the 2016-17 season.
